Recipe Of Kheer





KHEER is the most common sweet dish in INDIA and every one wants to learn how to make kheer but today the recipe of kheer which is i m going to teach today is slightly different than other kheers.
It is bengali kheer or i should say bengali paesh. It taste heaven. Its very sweet just like the bengalis and it melts in your mouth. It brings water in my mouth every time i see this kheer.
SO LETS START WITH THE RECIPE 😋

INGREDIENTS:

  1. 100 gm RICE (I prefer govind bhog rice but you can take rice)
  2. 100 gm BATASHA ( you can get it in any Indian store)
  3. SUGAR (10 tsp)
  4. GREEN CARDAMON POWDER 
  5. DRY FRUITS ( 25 gm)
  6.  GHEE ( 2 tsp)
  7. MILK ( 500 gm)

METHOD OF COOKING:

  1.  first wash the rice and mix ghee in it and keep aside for later use
  2.  in a pan pour the milk and turn the flame on of the gas 
  3. put the milk on it and let it boil very nicely
  4. once the milk is boiled add the rice in it and stir, cover the pan and let the rice cook for 15 mins
  5. stir the rice occasionally and see if the rice is cooked half or not
  6. once the rice is cooked half add the batasha and sugar and stir
  7. cover the pan and let the rice cook fully, stir and check occasionally 
  8. once the rice is cooked fully and its releasing a beautiful aroma
  9. remove the lid and let it cook for another 5 min. once it has got the thick consistency
  10. add green cardamon powder and the dry fruits. serve cold it will taste  heavenly
you can make it on any special occasion and enjoy it will your family.
